PERCEIVING REALITY: THE MAKING OF SCALENE

So I guess I missed posting about this more. Whoops.

I directed a feature-length documentary titled PERCEIVING REALITY: THE MAKING OF SCALENE, chronicling the making of my good friend Zack Parker’s third film, SCALENE (bet you couldn’t have guessed that from the title, eh?). And by feature-length I mean comprehensively epic. The thing is 3.5 hours long (though I’ve been told it flows much better than you’d expect something of that runtime to). I’m actually damn proud of how it turned out, and think it’s an honest portrayal of what it takes to make an independent film. Not independent like studios mean when they throw the word around. Real independent film.

Zack’s done very well with SCALENE, it’s won multiple awards and was released on DVD, Blu-ray, and VOD everywhere in late July. The DVD will contain the documentary’s prologue, which is the first 15 minutes. The full documentary is available exclusively on the Blu-ray. So you know you wanna buy THAT version. Cause you’re awesome.
